Precision Milling on Mazak, DMG MORI, FANUC & Brother

Mazak I-600 5-Axis Machining

Our Mazak I-600 5-axis machining centers handle complex contoured geometry — impellers, turbine components, and multi-face aerospace brackets — in a single setup. Five-axis simultaneous motion eliminates repositioning error and holds ±0.01mm on critical features, making the Mazak I-600 our go-to for aerospace and medical parts that demand positional accuracy across multiple datums.

DMG MORI 60EVO 5-Axis Machining

The DMG MORI 60EVO complements our 5-axis capacity with a 600 × 550 × 500mm work envelope, ideal for medium-sized precision housings and structural components. Its rigid construction and high-speed spindle deliver excellent surface finish on aluminum and titanium, reducing the need for secondary polishing.

FANUC & Brother High-Speed 3-Axis Milling

For fast-turnaround precision parts and higher-volume runs, our FANUC a-D14MIA and Brother TC-S2DZ high-speed milling machines deliver rapid cycle times without sacrificing accuracy. These machines excel at small-to-medium aluminum and steel components — electronics enclosures, connectors, and brackets — where throughput and repeatability matter. With 70 Renishaw in-machine probes across the fleet, dimensions are verified during machining, not just after.

CNC Milling — Frequently Asked Questions

What tolerance can you hold on CNC milling?

Our standard machining tolerance is ±0.05mm (±0.002"). For precision features we routinely hold ±0.01mm (±0.0005") on 3-axis and 5-axis milling, verified with CMM inspection. Tighter tolerances are available on request — share your drawing and we'll confirm feasibility during DFM review.

What is the tolerance for 5-axis CNC milling?

5-axis milling on our Mazak and DMG machines holds ±0.01mm (±0.0005") on critical features, with complex contoured geometries machined in a single setup to eliminate stack-up error. This makes 5-axis ideal for aerospace and medical parts where positional accuracy across multiple faces matters.

What materials can you CNC mill?

We mill aluminum (6061, 7075), stainless steel (303, 304, 316), carbon steel, titanium (Ti-6Al-4V), brass, copper, and engineering plastics (PEEK, POM/Delrin, PTFE, nylon). Material selection affects cost and lead time — our engineers can advise on the best choice for your application during the quote.

What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ) for CNC milling?

There is no minimum order quantity. We machine single prototypes as well as production runs of thousands. With 300+ CNC machines across our Dongguan and Changsha facilities, we scale from one-off rapid prototypes to ongoing volume production without retooling delays.

What is the typical lead time for CNC milled parts?

Rapid prototypes ship in as little as 3–5 business days. Production lead times depend on quantity, material, and finishing, typically 1–3 weeks. Every quote includes a confirmed lead time, and our engineers review each order within 24 hours.

What CNC milling machines does WFX use?

Our milling fleet includes Mazak and DMG MORI 5-axis machining centers for complex aerospace and medical geometry, plus FANUC and Brother high-speed 3-axis mills for fast-turnaround precision parts. With 300+ machines total, we match the right equipment to each project's accuracy and volume requirements.
